To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar - Best. Album. Ever.

Today Ben talks with good friend and cohost of Overthink Podcast Network's sister show, West Coast Bias, Brent Peterson to chat about his contender for Best. Album. Ever: Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly".

They spend some time on the big picture of the album and the overall flow and influences around it, then at about 18min in they get into Brent's personal journey of discovery and appreciation of the album before diving into the tracklist at 21min. From there on out it's a track-by-track breakdown of the record.

Thanks again to Brent for taking the time to go through this album so thoroughly! (And also a special thanks to Overthink advisors and hosts Jason Helms and Corrigan Vaughan.)

Hope you're enjoying Best. Album. Ever. Look forward to another classic album next month!
